Gentaş Chemical Industry and Trade Marketing Inc, which was established in 2000, started to invest in Tuzla Chemical Industrialists Organized Industrial Zone in 2003 as a member of the Gentaş Group of Companies and has been producing in 3600 m² closed area built on 7200 m² open area since January 1, 2005. Gentaş Kimya, whose field of activity is formaldehyde and formaldehyde resins, serves the chemical industry with a production capacity of 150,000 tons/year formaldehyde and 137.000 tons/year resin.
Information about the Chemicals in the Enterprise and the Studies Performed
The notification specified in Article 7 of the Regulation on the Prevention of Major Industrial Accidents and Reducing Their Effects was made using the BEKRA system of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization. In the statement made, it has been determined that our business is a high-level organization. Thus, within the scope of Article 11 of the same regulation, the safety report has been prepared for our business.
Our facility is liable to the provisions of the Regulation on the Prevention of Major Industrial Accidents and Reducing the Effects, and the components of the stored chemicals has been given below.

Within the scope of the Regulation on the Prevention of Major Industrial Accidents and Reducing Their Effects, preventive and restrictive safety measures have been taken for major accidents scenarios within the enterprise. These measures include all kinds of Design (compliance with the standard), Basic Process Control Systems (safety valve, etc.), Process Alarms (level alarm, etc.), Physical Protections (tank pool, etc.), fire extinguishing and gas detection systems for the control of major accidents.An Emergency Plan, which includes the intervention and evacuation method for major accidents, has been prepared and exercises are carried out periodically. it is provided to join the agencies providing fire and ambulance services in the exercise by cooperating with them. In order to develop and maintain the concept of security, information is exchanged with internal units and neighboring organizations outside the organization (such as emergency service units, Provincial Disaster and Emergency Directorates, Provincial Directorate of Environment) via petitions or e-mails.
